Armour Square is in Cook County and a residential area with a population of 10,880 on the city's South Side, as well as a larger, officially defined community area containing Chinatown and the CHA Wentworth Gardens, with a pagoda-style pavilion and riverside paths in Ping Tom Memorial Park, plus the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, highlighting community history. Living in Armour Square offers residents an urban feel and most residents rent their homes. This namesake neighborhood is best known for being home to Armour Square Park and Guaranteed Rate Field, the baseball stadium where the Chicago White Sox play.
